Session has ended. The 2008 session ended with a last minute flurry again this year. Some bills which looked like they were going to pass ended up stalling. Those which did not pass this year and were introduced this session are dead until next year. Those which carried over from last session are dead.

 

Highlights

  • Session ends with no tax reduction and no car tag tax elimination.

under the "Quality Basic Education Act" shall participate in or sponsor
interscholastic sports events conducted by any athletic association if the
association requires a minimum permanent seating capacity in order for a school to
host a state playoff game; to provide a definition; to provide for related matters;
to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
