KeyNote Speaker: Dr. Julie Alonzo
A Senior Research Associate and Co-Director of Behavioral Research and Teaching at the University of Oregon, Julie Alonzo earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Learning Assessment / Systems Performance in 2007. She earned her B.A. in English from Carleton College in 1990, her National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification in Adolescent and Young Adulthood English Language Arts in 2002, and worked as a high school teacher for 12 years prior to beginning her doctoral studies. Two of those years, she also served as a high school administrator part time. In 2002, she was named a Stafford Student Scholar representing the University of Oregon as a member of The National Institute on Leadership, Disability and Students Placed at Risk. Julie's primary research interests include Response to Intervention, teacher professional development, Curriculum Based Measurement, and the meaningful inclusion of students with diverse learning needs. She is one of the lead authors and developers of the easyCBM benchmarking and progress monitoring assessment system, and has served as principal investigator on numerous federal grants through the Institute for Education Sciences.

Conference Refund Request- Any cancellation received by August 29th will receive a full refund*. Cancellations received between August 30th and September 8th, will get a refund* of 50% of amount paid. No refunds will be issued after September 8th, 2013. *All cancellations will be subject to a $20 processing fee.
Refund requests must be sent in writing via e-mail or regular mail to the conference registrar. If request is made by USPS mail, please allow sufficient time for mailing of your request to meet deadlines listed above.
