CAREER PLACEMENT SERVICE GOES IN "AFTER
HOURS" MODE
The GASP Career Placement Service was held at Spring Conference. In
order to maximize the number of matches between jobseekers and
recruiters, interested districts can still "recruit" our list of
jobseekers from now until August 1. Simply send a check for $30.00
made payable to GASP to:
Robert C. Smith, Jr.
2842 Cromwell Drive
Columbus, GA 31906
Each "recruiter" will receive a listing of the persons that
submitted material to the Career Placement Service. Interested
interns as well as full- time, certified professionals are among the
nine jobseekers this year. Georgians, let's not send these people
(who want a position in Georgia) to other states seeking work! What
about your district? How are you fixed for next year?
GASP CAREER PLACEMENT SERVICE
The ninth annual GASP Career Placement Service
will be during the GASP 2008 Spring Conference, hosted by Carmen
Roberts and Bobby Smith. The service will be offered on only
one-half day—Thursday, April 24, 2008, from 1:30-5:00 P.M .
If you are a jobseeker, please complete the jobseeker form
from the GASP website. You may also send your formal resume as
additional information. If you would like to interview on-site,
there is no cost for any GASP or FASP professional or student
member, but there is a charge of $40.00 for nonmembers. This cost
includes a recruiter packet. If you would like to receive a
recruiter packet only, the cost is $10.00 for members.
