GASP is dedicated to enriching school psychologists and other professionals who deal with children in the educational setting and becoming a GASP member is an important step toward your profession growth. We encourage you to participate in this organization to help remain effective, viable and current in the profession.

Membership includes discounted access to GASP sponsored state-wide conferences traditionally held in the Spring and Fall each year, various regional workshops which may be available, quarterly issues of the Dialogue publication, facilitation towards earning your required continuing education hours (soon to be NASP approved), gain professional affiliation and more!

GASP's yearly membership coincides with the academic school year. Therefore, renewal for membership year begins each July 1st.

If you paying by mail in method, continue the online registration below to input your information and then print out the mail in application with payment. Check the 'manual method' when prompted to do so (pay by mail). Your registration information will be saved with GASP as 'pending' until your payment is received. Affiliate Member ($65.00 (USD)) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st Automatic renewal: no This category consists of any individual interested in school psychology who does not meet the requirements for either professional or student membership. Affiliate Members do not have voting or office holding privileges.

Professional Member ($65.00 (USD)) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st Automatic renewal: no This category is open to individuals either certified by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission in the service field of school psychology, or licensed by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Psychology who completed a formal graduate program in school psychology, who are engaged in work in the field of school psychology. This class of membership shall also include non-certified or non-licensed individuals who are engaged in training school psychologists as their major responsibility in the colleges and universities of Georgia and those individuals employed by the Georgia State Department of Education as professional staff members in School Psychology.

Retired Member ($40.00 (USD)) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st Automatic renewal: no This category is open to individuals who, at the time of their retirement, were classified as either Professional or Affiliate Members of the Georgia Association of School Psychologists, Inc. Retirement shall be defined as having served a requisite number of years, so as to be eligible (either through length of service or declaration of medical or physical disability) for and receiving retirement benefits or disability compensation.

Same Household Professionals ($80.00 (USD)) Bundle (up to 2 members) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st Automatic renewal: no This is for couples same household address

Student Member Affiliate ($25.00 (USD)) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st Automatic renewal: no This category of membership is open to individuals who are interested in school psychology and currently enrolled as an undergraduate and in good standing. Student membership affiliate may be converted to student member as soon as the individual meets those requirements. Student members affiliates shall not have voting or office holding privileges.

Student member* ($25.00 (USD)) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st Automatic renewal: no This category of membership is open to individuals who are currently enrolled in a graduate school psychology program and in good standing. Student membership may be retained as long as the individual is: 1) not employed more than halftime in a school psychology related position and 2) submit the required Student Advisor endorsement. Student membership may be converted to professional membership as soon as the individual is certified by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission or otherwise qualifies under the provisions above, upon presentation of required documentation to the Member Services Committee.
